Performs interim women's health care including a history & physical examination, pap smears and laboratory tests for non-pregnant maintenance of women. score: N/AEvaluates health history and performs comprehensive appraisal including physical evaluation and record findings for women. score: N/ADiagnosis acute gynecological conditions, illnesses or minor traumas related to GYN. score: N/AFormulates, initiates and modifies individual nurse midwifery plan for the patient. Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or closely related field, Master’s Degree preferred, and completion of ACNM approved Nurse-Midwifery educational program. Certification required as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Licensure required as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife by the State of NJ with prescriptive privileges. Analytical ability; ability to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of scientific/technical principles, theories, and concepts, and in-depth, experienced based knowledge.
