Overview

Benefits Analyst provides administrative support to the Benefits area of the Human Resources Department with accuracy and professionalism.  

Responsibilities

Prepares copies and creates packets for presentations, events, etc. Answers phones.

Responsible for reward and reimbursement programs including Tuition, Health Club subsidy, Weight Watchers, and Health Club points Programs.  

Assists with the coordination of open enrollment, Wellness, and other benefit related events.

Assists with research and prepares content for monthly Wellness Newsletter.

Prepares letters for New Hire Benefits, ACA eligibility, Benefits status, and BTB donations. 

Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital.

Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree in Human Resources or closely related field, Bachelor's degree preferred. One to three years experience or a combination of education and experience in a Human Resouces department. Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to to multi task in a high volume setting required.
