    Responsible for all aspects of sterile compounding for the department of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Pediatric Satellite, and Critical Care Satellite, including policy and procedure development and compliance, USP 797, USP 800, and USP 795 compliance; NJ Board of Pharmacy compliance; NABP (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy) compliance; DNV compliance and optimization of workflow efficiency.  Collaborates with department of Pharmacy leadership; maintains appropriate batching records, hood compliance and sterility, certifications and proper functionality of glove boxes and chemotherapy hood. Responsible for the implementation of all training for new and exisiting employees along with all other staff Pharmcist functions, including handling and mixing IVs and chemotherapy.

    Qualifications

    • PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required (BS Pharmacy degree may be accepted as entry level for Pharmacist position)
    • NJ Board of Pharmacy licensure and registration required.
    • Pharmacy Residency and Board Certification in clinical pharmacy practice is preferred.
    • Immunizer license as outlined by the NJ Board of Pharmacy required. New hires have 1 year from date of hire to receive Immunizer license.
