Responsible for cleaning the resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, service area, offices and conference rooms. To perform other duties of department as requested of similar skill and job requirements.
Prepare and operate service station on trayline, check for items needed for accuracy of trays. Ensure all food is served and handled safely adhering to regulatory guidelines. Picks up trays from residents rooms and interacts with residents, staff, and families prpoerly(knocks on door, waits for answer and introduces self upon entry and departs with Is there anything I may help you with before leaving). Fulfills daily nourishment snack requirements and restocking requirements for unit kitchenettes. Maintains proper sanitation regulations. Disassembles trays in a timely fashion and keeps work area in clean orderly fashion Keeps unit kitchenettes clean and in order and takes temperatures daily. Completes cleaning assignments properly Cleans dishroom after tray breakdown properly Cleans and maintains assigned station after trayline properly. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects
