     Job Overview


    Responsible for assisting the manager in the operation of the Radiology Records office and staff. This would include, but not be limited to, monitoring, tracking, and modifying daily operation flow, adjusting work assignments and staffing as needed.


    Assists the manager in the entire day-to-day operation of the Radiology Records Office. Including, but not limited to, monitoring, tracking and modifying daily operation flow, adjusting work assignments and staffing as needed. Organizes and accurately retrieves and tracks all radiology folders, including those we share with Clifton Imaging, with particular attention to mammogram exams. Trouble shoots issues that arise in the Records Office in a timely and efficient manner. Investigates, documents and resolves patient and staff complaints related to the Records Office. Ensures a positive work environment of staff my addressing needs. Maintains established protocols with Office Manager in the Records Office. Monitors cleanliness and organization of the Records Office, Xavier basement x-ray file area, and the storage file area on Getty Av. Works with Manager to get and keep these areas neat and files easily accessible via accurate placement. Monitors supply levels in the Records Office and in the basement storage area and notifying Manager of need for re-order, when applicable. Monitors the efficient processing of legal requests for film production and copying. Acts as a liaison between the Records Office staff, clinical and administrative staff. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects


    Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and two to three years of previous work related experience required. Requires the ability to read and understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and make comparisons between numbers and letters. Bilingual preferred.
