     Job Overview

     

    Manages of all aspects of non-clinical business operations and functions, development of new and existing programs, support of facility renovation and expansion projects, case data support, billing and revenue enhancement, oversight of OR billing functions, contract review and compliance and maintaining records on the financial performance for all departments. Serves as a resource to the management team on the development of reports to measure key indicators of sound operational, strategic and financial planning. Performs monthly analysis on spending trends and insures that proper accounting reconciliation is performed. Integrates data from varied sources to provide analysis and trends of expenses and revenue within Perioperative Services.

    Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to the management team on the development of reports to measure key indicators of sound operational, strategic and financial planning which result in clinical, economic growth performance and service excellence. Performs monthly analysis on spending trends and insures that proper accounting reconciliation is performed. Integrates data from varied sources to provide analysis and trends of expenses and revenue within Perioperative Services. Recommends potential opportunities for related improvements and implements change, as assigned. Keeps abreast and monitor all regulatory requirements from local, state and government bodies as it relates to the business activities of the department. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects

    Qualifications

    Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or healthcare related field and three to five years of previous work related experience. Previous experience in a healthcare environment as well as demonstrated project management experience preferred. Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
