    Job Overview

    The Physician Contract Officer shall be responsible for providing oversight of all aspects of establishing and maintaining physician contracts at St. Joseph's Health in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Specifically, the Physician Contract Officer shall be required to complete supporting documentation for the preparation of physician contracts and contract renewals including preliminary fair market value analysis, job descriptions and contract details. Duties include the maintenance of physician contract files in accordance with set standards and continual updating and maintenance of the physician contracting database. The Physician Contract Officer shall also be required to track specified physician payments, contract terms, bonus calculations and other measures and conduct fact-finding interviews with Chairs and members of the Executive Management team. The Physician Contract Officer shall provide timely responses to requests for information from Management, Chairs, Legal, and Compliance departments.   

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree together with demonstrated healthcare, finance, or compliance background required
    • Three to five years experience in equivalent or similar roles requiring a detail oriented, process driven, high volume work environment and advanced data management skills
    • Advanced Excel knowledge and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
