    Job Overview


    We are looking for an individual who can deliver a compassionate and positive service experience to our employees and managers. The Leave of Absence/ADA Manager is responsible for monitoring and identifying opportunities for efficiencies within the leave process to ensure that lost worktime is tightly managed.  Partners with the Workers Compensation and Wellness Manager on solutions to serve the organization better with respect to the leave of absence and transitional, light, and alternate duty programs. Coaches managers on leave policy and processes and engages with employees in the interactive process concerning reasonable accommodations



    • Bachelor’s Degree required; PHR (Professional Human Resources) preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands on FMLA and ADA administration experience, knowledge/understanding of benefits administration, COBRA and knowledge of HIPAA
    • Understanding of complicated aspects of accommodations and transitional, light or alternative duty assignments.  Working knowledge of federal and state laws regarding access for people with disabilities and accommodations to be made under FMLA and ADA.
    • Attention to detail and outstanding follow-up skills.  Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of HRIS systems and Kronos is a plus
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced multitask environment
    • Ability to work with many interruptions and to prioritize projects, tasks and assignments as needed
    • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  Can work independently and in collaboration with the benefits team when necessary
