 Job Overview

 

Responsible for assisting with the scheduling, staffing, and operational aspects of the CT section in the department. Performs CT exams and provides guidance to CT technological staff in order to ensure a high quality of work. Assist in the orientation and training of newly hired CT staff. Utilizes a variety of equipment including the CT scanners, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to the overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skill.

Qualifications

Work requires a High School diploma. Work required the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and three years of CT experience required. ARRT required. State of New Jersey licensure required. Requires the analytical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic specific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth experience based knowledge. Requires the ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.
