Job Overview:
The Clinical Application Analyst II has clinical licensure and experience that is required when working with applications involving high risk scenarios such as medication management, oncology, and clinical capacity management. Possesses knowledge of the functions and applications of information systems and is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting clinical, ancillary, and capacity management systems in order to efficiently and effectively assist with the goals of fulfilling business objectives while simultaneously aligning with risk mitigation. Actively participates in development work groups, performing project management functions and mentoring team members. Completes complex tasks and large or multiple projects with minimal direction and requires organizational and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring they are accomplished within the required timeline and meeting project expectations. Provision of 24/7 on call support required.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and
licensure in clinical area – rPH, PharmD required. 2 to 3 years of equivalent professional experience in varied pharmacy and clinical applications, as they relate to medication use and safety, in support, build and implementation.
Prior experience with project implementation and/or support experience, including some segment of the system development life cycle or project management required.
Certification in Microsoft, project management or equivalent highly preferred.
