Job Summary
Has knowledge of the functions and applications of information systems. Responsible for maintaining and supporting pharmacy and clinical applications. In addition to be a resource regarding medication management in other areas such as ambulatory, ancillary, financial and/or administrative systems. The Application Analyst Pharmacy Informatics I should have organizational and time management skills to participate in multiple projects for medication management and patient safety of varying size and complexity to ensure they are accomplished within the required timeline and meet project expectations. This position will need to participate in a 24/7 on call support schedule.
Licensure in clinical area – rPH, PharmD required. 1 to 2 years of equivalent professional experience in varied pharmacy and clinical applications, as they relate to medication use and safety, in support, build and implementation, preferred. Some project management experience. Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills required. Effective oral and written communication skills. Work requires the analytical ability to resolve varied problems with team members utilizing basic technical principles and experience-based knowledge. Work requires the exercise of judgment in order to establish requirements and objectives.
