Job Overview
Responsible for clinical operations and processes for Surgical Service lines. Makes procedural or process suggestions for achieving team goals or performing team functions. Coordinates with managers and other multidisciplinary leaders to promote professional practice models and ensure delivery of qualitycare, optimal customer service and employee satisfaction. Provides mentorship and guidance for staff development, and performance improvement actvities. Collaborates with inpatient clinical leadership to ensure a smooth transition of care for patients. Coordinates all systems and services leaning towards an organized approach to patient care.
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Master’s degree in Nursing or closely related field and three to five years of previous work related experience, plus three to six months of on-the-job training and orientation. Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey. Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
